Do you want to help the magic of Main Street happen? Look no further! The Mount Airy Main Street Association (MAMSA) puts on approximately eight-to-ten events each year!
MAMSA also partners with the Town of Mount Airy and other organizations to assist or sponsor three-to-four additional events each
year!
If you are passionate about community and ready to get involved in your town, MAMSA could be the right fit for you! We are seeking volunteers that are familiar with the national organization, Main Street America and its Four Point Approach – Economic Vitality, Design, Promotion and Organization.
More importantly, do you have a spot in your heart for all things small business?
We have the following volunteer roles up for grabs:
Seat on the Board of Directors (four available)
President (Most Needed)
Secretary (Most Needed)
Vice President
Treasurer
These are elected positions and the term is two years. To run for a seat on the Board of Directors or for
an Executive position, you must be a member of MAMSA.

Mount Airy Main Street Association (MAMSA) members are a dedicated group of volunteer residents and business owners interested in working with the Town and other stakeholders to revitalize Historic Downtown Mount Airy's business district. MAMSA strives to establish Downtown as a gathering place and center of community life, promote commerce for local businesses, sponsor cultural events for residents and visitors, and create a small town destination that is easily accessible by car, bike, and foot.
