MAMSA Hosts Guest Speaker on 2019 Tax Changes for Small Businesses

Local small businesses are invited to learn about the 2019 tax changes at the January 21 Main Street Association (MAMSA) membership meeting, 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Mount Airy Town Hall, 110 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, Md.


Lawrence R. Smith (Larry), President of Cornerstone Accounting Solutions located in Sykesville, will talk about the tax changes brought about by the 2017 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act that could effect local small business owners in 2019. Attendees are encouraged to come with questions.


Smith has over 40 years of experience as a tax preparer and has been a resident of Mt. Airy since 1986 where he and his wife, Renee, raised their two sons.


Mount Airy Main Street Association's membership meetings are held monthly at Mount Airy Town Hall on the third Monday of the month, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and are open to the public.
