The Mount Airy Main Street Association is happy to pass on the news that the Town of Mount Airy was awarded $50,000 from the Department of Housing and Community Development’s Community Legacy Program to fund another year of the “Mount Airy Façade Improvement Program”.
Eligible applicants are commercial properties located within the Sustainable Community Designated Area - including those in the Downtown Mount Airy Main Street commercial district - for Fiscal Years 2019 through 2021. Grant Applications are being accepted on a rolling deadline through January 2021. The program will continue for two years or until all funds are expended.
